Rotary heat exchangers under normal conditions within air conditioning equipment
are not inclined to get dirty thanks to the effect of rotor self-cleaning (however, this
phenomenon exists only when the rotor rotates, still rotors, however, are inclined to get dirty).
In case of contaminations which are sticky, thick or greasy. The solution is a system of periodic
cleaning (periodically rotates the rotor and prevents dirt accumulation on one side). If the rotor
operates in difcult conditions, an automatic cleaning devices should be installed. Compressed
air or pressurized hot water are the most frequently used cleaning media. Ro section is
equipped with revision covers, enabling free access to the exchanger drive. Optionally the empty
sections - L - are used before and after the exchanger, which have trays for the condensate
with a drain.
