NOISE SUPPRESSORS` SECTION - SD
In order to reduce the noise level emitted by the central station into the ducts or to the
environment noise suppressors are used (absorption suppressors) to reduce audible
frequencies above 250 Hz.
For central stations running intermittently, suppressors which reduce the noise in the
range 63 to 250 Hz are used. These are absorption and resonance suppressors,
with part of the sound-absorbing insert on both sides of the so-called slotted lever covered
with a resonant sheet, solid or perforated.
The slotted levers of the suppressors are made in a housing of galvanised sheet or stainless
sheet, and can be optionally equipped with an air ow guide device at the inlet and
at the outlet of the suppressor. The suppressing insert is made of non-combustible materials,
abrasion-resisting at air ow velocity up to 20 m/s.
The noise suppressors and their variants are selected individually to full specic requirements.
Hygienic versions of the suppressors are made of washable materials. The design allows
for easy disassembly from the suppressor.
