WATER HEATER SECTION - E

The heaters are made of copper pipes, with a package of aluminium lamellas placed on these
pipes. The whole assembly is closed in a housing made of zinc plated sheet. The collectors are
made of steel or copper pipes. The exchangers are equipped with blowdown and venting
connections. Optionally, exchangers with epoxidated package or in a housing made of acid
resistant sheet are used. In case of roof central stations it is possible to use the exchangers with
connector pipes bent towards the direction of air ?ow, to allow for making connections and
placing the control and pump unit inside the housing of the central station (additional empty
section - L is required). At water temperature higher than 130Co or if a medium in a form of
steam is used, the heaters are entirely made of steel. To protect the heaters against freezing,
circulating pumps and antifreeze sensors should be used, installed directly on the heat
exchanger or on a special frame, intended for this purpose, located in an empty section,
300 mm wide, adjoined to the heater.
