AIR Handling UNITS
Construction
Housing
The construction of the central stations, independently of the size, is based on unied panel
elements, characterized by the width of 300-900 mm. Body panels are bolted. Bodies of KMW:
- climat air handling units distinguish themselves by:
- wall rigidity (folded panel is a self-supporting rigid structural beam),
- noise reduction (wall panels are lled with a wool characterized by a high sound reduction
factor),
- tightness (ensured by a special seal between the panels),
- easy to keep clean (the body has a smooth internal surface, with no
protrusions and bolts, easy to wash).
A skeleton construction, typical in most typical central stations, has been eliminated from the housing
body structure. The panel construction is a self-supporting one:
- enables assembly in places which are difcult to reach,
- makes easier the division of sections depending on transport possibilities inside the building
- efcient sealing and noise reduction.
The advantages of the system are as follows:
- airtight doors,
- inspection panels in any section.
Panel construction enables assembly of the air handling units on support frames or directly
onto the foundation. Optionally the air handling units are made without a oor - the housing
of the airhandling units are attached to the oor.
Standard
The design of the air handling unit fulls the requirements of the European standard:
PN-EN 1886:2007.
Workmanship class
Exceptionally rigid construction of the housing ensures minimum deection of walls during
start-up and operation, ensuring long, stable operation.
ZR air handling units full high mechanical requirements described by the EN 1886 standard.
Mechanical characteristics of ZR air handling units exceed most requirements of the RAL
standards.
