AIR Handling UNITS
ELECTRIC HEATER SECTION - EE
The electric heater section is made of a set of tubular heating elements made of stainless
steel. The unit is closed in a housing made of galvanised steel. The heater sections are supplied
with a 3 x 400V power supply, and individual heating elements are supplied with 230V.
The heater sections can be made with the following control systems:
- bilateral thermal protection against overheating - external control system to be selected
by the designer, using the signal from thermal protective devices.
- apart from thermal protective devices, there are built-in contactors, which switch off the
heating elements. The device is controlled by an external thermostat or a thyristor power
controller.
