WATER HEATER SECTION - E
The heaters are made of a mixture of different materials. The whole assembly is enclosed in a
housing made of galvanised sheet. The collectors are made of steel or copper pipes.
The exchangers are equipped with blowdown and venting connections. Optionally,
exchangers with epoxy coated package or in a housing made of acid resistant sheet can
be used. Whole steel exchangers will be used for steam or water over 130oC. To protect the
heaters against freezing, circulating pumps and antifreeze sensors should be used, installed
directly on the heat exchanger or on a special frame, intended for this purpose, located in
an empty section, 300 mm wide, adjoined to the heater.
