ROTARY EXCHANGER - RO
The main part of the heat recovery RO section is a rotary heat regenerator for recovering
heat from the exhaust air. Depending on the version, the rotor of the exchanger may be a
condensating one - for sensible heat recovery - or a hygroscopic one - to recover the sensible
and latent heat (humidity). The exchangers with a condensating rotor are used in those systems,
where humidity recovery is not important. The exchanger can be adapted for operation with
constant or variable rotational speed (in this case the exchanger).
The ef?ciency of the recovery of heat and humidity may be controlled by
changing the rotational speed of the rotor.
