Filter leaks

Filter tightness is determined by the measurement of leak quantity through the slits between
the ?ler frames, installed in the ?lter wall, and the ?lters. Leaks throgh the housing are taken
into account during the measurement. A leak is measured as a portion of the leak in %
between the slits.

Noise reduction

The resulting noise reduction of the housing can be obtained by assessing the difference in the
noise level of the source, and the level of noise coming out of the housing. The measurements
have been performed in accordance with the ISO 3744:1994 standard for two housing types.
Noise reduction values are speci?ed in respective octaves and as resulting values.
